2010 Isle of Man?

DM, I'm sure you will take this over soon.

Just been posting with Tony T and goading JSP on the pembrokshire cruise thread about the IOM in 2010 so though i'd start it.

Subject JSP

Doubt he will be at IOM meet, I think he would be out at every meeting.......but he is probably a) making more rugrats b)typing on here c) trying to find more gaffa tape for his SR.

I'd wager a pint in Conwy that he doesn't make it!!

(Come on JSP, prove me wrong and get that SR out)

I posted up this meet the day after getting back from the last one. We will be leaving from Solway though as not only is the distance shorter but the travel and cost from here significantly lower.
I am hoping we can get a few more bodies from north of the border and meet up with the southern softy contingent on the island?

You think we are soft...you should see the really southerly Solent softy contingent! Won't even go out boating unless there are polished pontoons, showers and deck hands waiting to rinse off their boat! You are lucky if they talk to you if you have a Gaffa taped SR, Humber, or anything below a Ribtec.

I'll hopefully be heading out from the North East end of the menai straits. Last year many seemed to use Conwy as the base.

I'm definitely interested providing it don't clash with my jollies. I understand that there are quite a few campsites (can anyone recommend a clean, quite, site) and good slips around Beaumaris but I suppose it depends on where you are meeting or launching from.
