unbelievable isn't it???

what's the point in nicking something that size and only taking it a few miles down the coast?!?!

isn't that just asking to get caught?

surely you want to get it as far away as possible don't you, and then hide it for a while?!? er, I would think, er, according to someone else, who nicks stuff... and def not me!

ah well, glad you got it back.

We did claim on the insurance but they had not paid out before it was recovered so we withdrew the claim.

It is a bit strange it only went a few miles but I suppose they are not that sharp are they!

They have caught the guy who nicked it but he is out on bail, probably permanent bail.

They found it through a raid on a house which revealed an invoice for boat storage in the post.

It is now for sale - again.

Out on Bail

Whats the friggin point of letting him out on Bail.
They should have broken an Arm and Leg and then given 6 weeks Bail and then break the opposing Arm and Leg and let back out on bail.

I think its a bad joke that they let him out on Bail.
I am giving 6/4 that he robs again whilst out on bail, if so, then the next injured party shoudl be able to sue court as the bastard is under their ward of sorts.
I am delighted you got your boat back.
I suppose theat the Jeep was stolen too, did they get that back.

I had a boat stolen a few years back. it had a wheel clamp on and was in a locked council boat park. the clamp was left on the floor and the boat, engine, trailer and inventory were gone.
A local curtain twitcher said he saw a strange vehicle [which he named as a red Escort XR3i reg X123 ABC] going in2 the compound at around the time we estime the loss, I gave the details to the local plod... NOTHING DONE too much paper work and not enough time apparently!

A slightly 'rough and ready' mate of mine suggested if he or we had caught them that we take a lump hammer to the thieves hands to slow them down.....

harsh but fair I say!

6/4??? bit too much in your favour I reckon..!
