im sorry to hear about your loss, are the main roads covered by cameras around dorch?

As you know pretty well when they went can the feds not see the tow vehicle from the closest cameras from where the boats went from?

have they checked them for you?? as these may possible lead to a shit load of other stolen ribs

Poole Marine police are normally pretty on the ball. Although I suspect these boats are hidden away somewhere, I had a boat nicked 6 years ago and share your pain. Hope the insurance works outs ok, good luck

Police have been out to crime site and had a look around, but to no avail so far.

That's surprising. You would've thought that the plod rocking-up two weeks after the event would've had the blighters banged to rights.

Sorry to hear the news. They are both very distinctive...would easily be spotted for sale in Uk or IRL? Will keep an eye out!

They've phoned up to say they have done everything they can, let's wait and see what happens.

I'm guessing that it's very unlikely I'll ever see them again!

I was sure I'd found the humber the other day when I was down in Plymouth - unfortuantely not - it had a mercury on it instead.

Will keep my eyes peeled on my travels.

i guess it's very easy to swap the engines over to keep people off the scent?

maybe worth a look at the hull serial number on the boat if in doubt? i'm sure it is all above board but can't hurt to check can it?

hope your insurance is sorting you out assuming you had some.

i've got a new avon 560 coming and i was looking at trackers only yesterday-i'll 100% be getting one with all the unfortunate rib thefts i read about :-(

cheers

You may want to re-think that tracker, after you've been out on the 560
