Whales

Ok, so not taken from a RIB unfortunately, but we went on a whale watching boat yesterday here in Newfoundland. Lots of Humpbacks feeding on Capelin - fantastic sight although it was pissing with rain hence the quality of the ohotos. Anyway, enjoy!

The biggest one was about 45ft long I'd say and they ranged from 20ft upwards.

Did the whale pose for the middle pic or was it just a fluke?

Well done Alan!!
I took about 40 shots trying to get a pod of grey whales this year and nothing half as good as those. Tricky little B**gers!!!!

A fluke was about all I got
Still fun to be alongside them and see them cruising throught the water;but we have to keep our distance here;
cheers Dal
