trip today

We left Aberdovey at 10.30 this morning and headed for a meet with Dave p at Pwllheli, sea was a little lumpy and with a cold wind against us we arrived at 12.15.
After a few cups of coffee and a bite to eat we left with Dave and crew for a run over to Barmouth. There was plenty of sunshine not the predicted weather forcast of showers. After an hours crossing and seeing rubber duck airbourne a few times we reached Barmouth around 3.30. They had placed all the bouys out in the harbour ready for the yachts to start arriving for the three peaks yacht race in a fortnights time.

After a short walk around the harbour and a compulsary icecream it was time for us to head back... Dave to Pwllheli and us to Aberdovey
We arrived back in dovey around 5 and spent a short time wave jumping over the bar which by this time was at high tide with plenty of tasty waves to have fun in
All in all great day out....

Didnt take many pictures but took some good video with my new HD170 action camera which i will edit and post in the coming week

Photos look good as usual, the sunshine has left a small impression on my now slightly pink coloured face. The run down to Barmouth and the ice cream was good, on the way back we stopped off at Shell island as it was high tide for a look around. The final 7 miles back to Pwllheli was a little lumpy for a few of the crew and were limited to around 17knots, and they are still feeling the affects this morning.
