launch ramps on the tyne

hello there fatboy(no offence) and red fox, just read the forum and thought i would tell you of a place in south shields to launch a boat, i use it all the time, the only problem is that it is getting popular with the jetski set on a sunday, any other time will be nice and quiet, it's at a place called littlehaven, and the south shields yacht club and local council use it, it's free but your supposed to have a parking permit, and to get one of those you need insurance, but that's not a problem because what you can do is launch your boat, and park in the nearby tourist car park it's only 30p perhour.the ramp it's self is located between the littlehaven hotel, and the jetty that the tyne pilot uses, you can't miss it. hope to see you there when the weather turns.

regards

Cheers seaskimmer, i'll have to take a look at this site on boatlaunch and when the ice melts...you never know. That sounds like two good sites at either end of the river.
