Am no expert, but I think the blue lights in the second picture, that appear to be on the "beached" rib, are on the A frame of the rib in the back of the customs boat??

RIB maybe more fast ! But can the big boat use a small RIB in the bcak of big boat to escape ?What's wrong with it ?

Is the notch in the rib hull a design feature? As in stepped hull? If so how come they caught it?

Wonder what engines have now been submerged at the stern?

I think any rib enthusiast has to visit Gibraltar and have a look at the boats of local regiment! They are all confiscated from the ex smugglers and believe me they are all extreme pieces of art!

The Spanish coast guard used to have big bore softball shooting cannons (handball size and balls not that soft!) to break the engines off from the transoms and I will not be surprised if the bad guys are using super inboards nowadays
