Rough boating conditions !!!

Took this picture from the river Fal of some trees lining the edge of a park on Sunday.

I couldnt believe how calm the water was...

Sorry - but I know exactly what you mean having spent this summer just gone mostly without a boat - I too used to hate it when people posted pics of really nice places.

It was a fantastic day out - spent half the day travelling from Falmouth to Truro (8 knot speed limit) where these pics were taken and then wake boarding in the afternoon. (well i didn't wake board - still nursing a RIB injury - as in the ribs in your chest not my boat)

Fog here all day on Sunday
Pic shows the Isle of Inishmore tied up at the ferry terminal and was taken around 1800hrs just before the computer on the jetty crashed.

Saturday was calm but completely overcast - lovely baby swell (between 1 and 2 metres) coming in through the heads to have fun in however.

Ok, Ladies and Gents. Pic1- The Village of Malpas.
Pic2- Victoria Quays, Malpas.
Pic3- Pontoon at Smugglers Cottage, Tolverne.
Pic4- Channel marker off St. Just pool.
Pic5- Entrance to Cowlands Creek.


Sorry, bin' messin' around on this stretch of water for a few years now.

I too have been using this stretch of water on and off since I was about 8 years old - but I couldnt have named any of the places - show off.....
