They looks like the holes for bilge pumps etc

A V16??? Griffon was also a V12. Unless you are thinking of the Napier sabre that was an H24

yeah, they would be deck drains or bilge pump exits...

hadn't thought about surface drives actually, but they would be harder to install in photoshop than an outdrive!

This is the first rib i've done, in the past, i've drawn superyachts or powerboats (the cost on paper is nothing !!) - This rib's a bit conventional - I'm gona attempt something a bit more wacky next time - probably something that runs on dandylions and saves the planet in some way!
