I don't understand that pic. Am I going squinty eyed or is that hull asymetric?

And, no longitudinals?

Yes!

No, it's a close up exposure and has distorted the view due to the angle of the shot!

Not yet, just out of the mould, the longitudinals and fuel tank etc. aren't in yet. JW, give them time.
I have asked Jason to send photo's at various stages of construction so you should see the build progress.

I would have expected the longits before any transverse bracing. Maybe I misunderstand. Is the first pic not the hull + the foam patterns + the precut csm ready for moulding?

I look forward to the future pics Ian.

Hmm, a bit worrying don't you think JW?

Surely all the longitudinals together with any transverse bracing should be in place and bonded before the hull is pulled from the mould?

Hull build

If you look closely at the pic you can see that the hull is still sitting in the mold.

I would certainly hope so. Have you ever seen the running surfaces of a boat that has been removed from the mould before the structures have been put in. It would look as though a certain SA company had built it!

Just reviewed the surrounding areas on the pic and it would appear to be still in the mould.

I was so excited that I can again say 'I have a rib' I didn't look at the other bits.

JK, can I now go on the 'Have rib' list for the Paintball, or doesn't this count just yet.
