Portnahaven to Portnahaven

Bit of a rough start with N.E. blowing against the tide. Once past Rathlin wind turned N.W. and turned into a smashing day.
Lovely village with one Post Office/Store and great pub - good pint good.

It's quite the machine. Double berths, three Pilot style seats, mungo plotter and, wait for it, a galley - for fresh brews! All this propelled by 245hp

Mind you, the Skipper is bound to attract the attention of the Borders Agency soon, being so regular a channel hopper...

Thanks Kerny - yes a berth i can crawl into. Went last month to Port Bannatyne marina. Had to sleep on board for the first time as the hotel was closed until easter. Temp fell to 2C. So i have since fitted a 12" tube heater at the side of bulkhead in the berth, which i can plug into 240v shore power socket.
