Wow! .....That sounds one for the Bucket list right there!

So when are you planning to make the trip.

I must have been drinking so much 'bier' or have a strange spell check lol!
Will definitely try and visit Melfjord again. Want to take inflatable canoes next time too.
Hope to go again either next year or the year after. Really going to try for next year though. Would love to get further north and spend as long there as possible.
Nasty looking problem on that Suzuki! As Fjordrafting said back in 2007, Lofoten looks amazing. Likely will have a wee look on the way north!

this photo was taken at about 01:00 in Melfjord, just north of the arctic circle and we felt like the only folk in the world

A mile really didn't go by when there wasn't somewhere we wanted to stop and explore and most places we stopped at we could have spent weeks exploring. Honestly a life time wouldn't be enough time to see the west coast of Norway. So much to see and so little time! Also rarely did a mile go by when there wasn't a great anchorage or pontoon to stop for the night.

You have absolutely no idea how much boating I do. As I live practically on the water, own two ribs and assorted other floaty things and maintain a mooring on the Helford, you can be assured that I do a lot more boating than you.

The difference being, unlike yourself, I do not consider it necessary to make a song a dance out of every outing or splash it's details all over this site.

How many Scillies trips did you make this year?
