New lifeboat - Boomeranger C-595
Hi, here are photos about new lifeboats Finnish Lifeboat Society got on November 2003. They are built by Boomeranger Boats, the model is C-595 and specifically designed for SAR-duty. Engine is Yamaha 90 hv, top speed around 34 kn. I have detail-photos also, but here are the first impressions from seatrial. The boat works like dream, a real good performer in it's class. I have information about these boats, so please ask if you want to know something.

Both boats. These two ones will be seen at Helsinki Boat Show on February at Finnish Lifeboat Society stand.

Have you got a picture of the console?

just interested in where the radar, radio, gps go on such a small console.

EDIT: oops, next time i should look again before posting. It looks brill. Most of the electronics sheltered and easily to hand.

Hi Pitkis has Boomeranger started full production on this C-595 and has the Yamaha the immersion kits like the RNLI“s Evinrudes ?

C-595 production
Hi, production of C-595 has started and I'd remember that they have further boats under construction, the number of them is not clear for me. They build only on order fully specified for each client, so no C-595s will be built for stock. The model is also available as water jet version, but to date these two ones are the only seagoing RIBs. Outboards are ordinary Yamaha 90 hp versions, there is no immersion-proof system developed for them.
