Nautilius DLX 17

About a month ago I purchased another RIB.

Very solid boat, amazing amount of storage and a first for me, a canopy to keep us safe from the hole in the ozone layer.

It is amazingly heavy, over 500kgs before motor, fuel trailer etc. Probably why it rides so well.

Also has a neat device called a boatcatch that allows you to drive the boat onto the trailer and hooks the boat automatically. Don't need an assistant. Works surprisingly well. I have nothing to do with the company. Saw them at the a Sydney a Boat Show and liked it but thought it wouldn't work in the real world. Was a little weary when I first went to use it but so far thumbs up.

Just realised that the boat catch device isn't on the trailer in this photo, that's the Ebay photo. Guess you could Google them or ask me for a photo. Too dark now to take one.

Need to fix the spelling, it is a Nautilus by AB Inflatables.

The Boatcatch that I was so impressed with is playing up. Hopefully just out of adjustment. Had two attempts to get it right, but still not there.

Also the Honda is running a little rough at idle. Apparently a well known problem that requires disassembling and cleaning the carburettors.
