Looks like it could get around the Solent comfortably

So what is the story behind it ?

Tony Lee-Elliots Flatacraft, possibly the ugliest rib ever built. Known by some as the big slipper!

This is not the ugliest rib ever, Tony built one much more ugly (The Shed) He built this boat to attmept an Around Britain a few years ago. Orgainaly built with a pair of Mercruisers which kept falling out into the sump! It now has a pair of Yamaha's and I think he still intends to do a circumnaviagtion this year but single handed. Not that he has trouble finding crew because he is one hell of a nice guy. Alan P

The Shed, now there was a rib. In case anyone is wondering how it got its name, well thats what it had, a shed. 7m of nice sleak rib with this garden shed thing sat on top of the tubes, compelte with very square soft top roof. Gave it the once over a few years ago when it was for sale in Moody's. 'Orrible BMW Diesel engine and matching oil slick in the bottom of the hull. Stern drive knocked a bit and the hole thing was caked in antifouling.

Wonder where it is now? along with his other very famous rib Miami Vice, 260 hp yamaha inboard in 21 feet of rib. It was err well rather quick!

Matiboy, I think hush was for sale a while back but its big bucks, try back copies of the unmentionable magazine.
