Carson 600

The Redditch sub aqua club collected there 6mtre boat today, off to Plymouth for there first weekend diving from her.

Thanks to Paul Tilley for a great job on the collar, the mods perfectly done and fiitted like a glove, nice piece of craftsmanship!

Thanks to Paul Diaper of the Metal clinic in Hamble for the stainless work again, excellent craftsmanship.

Picture taken after a re-tube, in Jan 2005 best RIB I have ever dived from, still the easiest entry ever after a knackering dive!!!

Pop, the website is currently being built will keep you posted.

The nine metre when first launched without anti fouling we achieved 54 knots.

That was with six people and 1300 litres of fuel!! So not far off 4.3 tonnes. The 9m's that went to the USA were fitted with twin 450HP on outdrive legs we weren't party to the actual speed but we were told it was in excess of 70KNTS, how much in excess we don't know!!. These saw service in the first and second Gulf Wars. When we have relocated we have a customer who is looking at a similar setup using Konrad legs and also including a cabin aswell....so watch this space

The sub aqua club have now clocked up 17 hours. With 8 kitted out divers they are easily reaching 32knots with more power to go
