how is the jockey seat sent re-connected after installing the tank and is it a permanent join? If not, how is it made water tight? Reason I ask is I was thinking of doing a similar thing with my console, but couldn't without a lot of hassle make a water tight seal.

Tim,

We mould a 50mm flange on the inside of the base, captive nuts are then bonded on the inside of this.
We can then put foam rubber seal on this flange.

The seat is then put back on and through bolted to the captive nuts.

This gives a good seal, if you want to be double water tight you can then put a thin bead of sealant in the join.

We do this to make the tank accesible should any water/dirt get in or, the tank start to leak.

This is far better than having to cut the deck up.

A couple of pics not wonderful hopefully some better ones soon!

After a couple of trips up and down the measured mile we averaged 38.2 knots four up and 50l of fuel. This boat has been propped for carrying weight as opposed to top speed

Looks nice

I like the way the toobs sit just clear of the water unladen at rest. Saves a lot of cleaning (says he with very green tubes at the blunt end that may or may not get attacked today )

That looks like a beauty that you've got it tied to there
