However we're not comparing like for like. I'm sure the tread depth on a Discovery's new tyres are much dealer than on the Q7. Have a look at Pirelli P zeros the next time your in a garage. Even new they look like slicks, it's rubbish.

They should do that when they come off the production line ..... it'll save the new owners taking them back to the dealers after a couple of days for repairs

I use them quite a bit so to use the engine for braking, they work well for me
Only problem in over nine years of running Disco's I can think of was when my alternater packed up on my D3, still drove it home and then on to the garage the next morning to have anther fitted!
