Wanted Fish Crate

Anyone got a clean Fish Crate/Box they want to sell/give me, must be strong enough to stand on and jump up and down on ? Would be handy to have the lid, however this isn't nessersary but desirable.

I've got a couple, I find em washed up on the beach all the time. My mates a fisherman (well reckons he is) just ask a local one and I'm sure you'll get one, either that or the fish market will have loads!

The only time I go down the fish market is in the evening when I go for a drink. Good Idea however and if I'm passing next week.

Sounds daft but are you wanting it to put fish in or for something else?

Andy, I bet you could get one from the fishmarket in Portsmouth down by the Camber. If you get stuck I'll ask when I get back

Yes, you can ask if you like. But Don't go out of your way Tim.

Thanks

Yes, to put fish in. I've been fishing onboard my RIB this year and was finding it difficult to gut fish and prepare the bait without all the mess associated with it.

I watched an episode of River Cottage a few weeks ago and saw that he was using a Fish Crate with a wooden tray on top. This had slightly raised sides to stop the blood from spilling out and a hole in the middle to throw the fish when/if caught. What a fantasticly simple Idea.
