I've taken on too many projects (as usual) and this is taking up space,
its around 2.8/3metres in length, Hopefully the pictures will show it for what it is, it needs an airdeck as this is missing ideally, although I used it saturday in the sea with a honda 5hp, obviously didnt open it up fully and it was fine sat on the tubes, the transom is very good order, totally solid, the tubes dont hold air very well, safe enough to go out on for a duration but it goes down after about 6/7 hours slightly and more so the next day, however it doesnt completley deflate, has 2 x a7 air valves, and its not those leaking, it has no patches on it what so ever and the tubes are in very good order, I'll include some polymarine 2 part PVC adheshive I bought I hope that I could make it completly air tight, clearly Im not that good at it! - there you have it Ive been completely honest about it, theres no damage to the underside as you can see from the pictures,
its had some glue work done to it in the past as theres some blue marker pen in places along the rubbing strake
you can source an airdeck off ebay or easily knock up four bits of wood and have slatted floor - or just use it as it is,
airdecks do come up online and give it another layer of safety/bounyancy and overall structure and a dam sight more comfortable
Quicksilver airdeck on eBay (end time 26-May-11 19:51:17 BST)
Its a good cheap project! or a good punt to get you the beach for a day without beaching your rib and wrecking your skeg paint job
