Lowrance HDS 5

For sale, Lowrance HDS 5 combo chartplotter/sounder c/w built in GPS antenna. Brand new in unopened package. Includes Lowrance 000-10431-001 HDS 5 SRVC PACK, as it says on the second unopened box! 550.

Yes, but are you aware that you can use the standard transom mount transducer in combination with the structure scan transducer?

I dont think I have enough space on the backmof my transom for another transducer thats all!!

Does this need extra charts or is the basemap useable?

ie How does it compare with say the Garmin 551s?

I'll try it later on if the rain holds off.
If it is useable, you will loose a lot of detail.
