Cables are on Ebay I also need some.
the remotes are dam expensive and depending on the model of engine you have range form £100-£300!!!!

Cables seem to be about £30ish each on eBay with steering cables from £60-£100ish. So nearly £150.
Was hoping to get some used ones for a bit less as I have had to buy a Stator for the engine severely denting the budget!
The remote is fine.

I will be striping out a steering cable in a couple of weeks time - it is in use at the moment but too long for the revised steering position. I would estimate it is 3.5 m long if you would be interested? I think I chucked out all my used engine control cables last autumn but will be doing a clearup in the workshop tomorrow so will have a look for you then.

What type of steering cable do you need and does the Mariner run Merc cables? I've got a pair of unused Merc 12' cables here (will have to do some digging about to find them....)

Definitely interested, mine is stamped M66, let me know what you would like for it and I will double check lengths etc.

My steering cable is stamped M66ft13 so I assume it is 13ft. I need one at least 1 foot longer (ideally 400mm longer but I imagine they come in 1ft lengths).

OK still looking, 4.25m M66 steering cable required and 12 or 13 foot control cables. 11ft was just too tight.
