Buy Gemini 470 or wait for 505?
I saw a 550 sell, but went for $27kAu, was near new looking, all 2010, 4 smoke 90hp etc.
But I found a 470, however it is an odd shape, the entry looks of, but it has a 15deg transom deadrise...

Adding centre console to a Caribe C12?
Interested in adding a jockey console onto one. Is this hard work? My main concern is screwing the console on into the false floor which could cause leaks into the bouyancy chamber?

How to date Caribe's?
The spec plate does not carry a date of manufacture. Its a DL14.
My last boat was a CL14, mid 2000's, was the DL14 made in same era or before, clearly it is Deluxe 14.
