I've also "Threaded" The Needles. About 20 years ago in a charter fishing boat called Eve II. and was impressive enough at about 12 Knotts.

If I were looking at a thrill ride in a RIB, I'd want to go alot faster than 25ks and would feel cheated if it couldn't go as fast as possible in any given Sea condition.
