i can confirm there is noooooo way a drill would move mine. i'm a big guy and it is difficult to get the boat moving with my current 2500lb 2 speed winch.

i'm really dubious about those plastic things, no experience....gut feeling.

i may just put a normal leccy winch on and leave the old one in the boat for emergency
