Can anyone post a picture of the gauge / sender used by Ribcraft? I think they're WEMA units. I like to know what I'm talking about before I post rubbish.

The fluctuations are due to under damping, either at the sender or the gauge end. The missing top and bottom range is because of incompatibility of the 2 units range. I'd make a very wild guess...
