Definitely not valve opened and no evidence of fluid leak. how do i check fluid level?

Power Trim not working

I put my freshly charged battery on the boat today and when i tried the PTT the motor runs ok but no motion up or down.:(

The engine is an early 90s Yamaha 60.

any suggestions gratefully...
