We had one and did the research - Vauxhall use the Isuzu engine as well - Cummins regret using it bigtime and caused them a lot of grief - the 2 litre replacement is fantastic in comparison.

It is but I'm not sure which parts are the same - the wastegate doesn't stick when they aren't used in a boat either!

Yes - the wastegate can stick if it's not...

Yes - the wastegate can stick if it's not lubricated very regularly - this will put a hole in a piston and wreck the turbo as well!
