Just an update on this, I ended up buying a Raymarine Dragonfly 7,

It looks quite easy for the kids to use, I'll let you know how it goes ;)

I bought a Garmin 45DV and a All-in one HD-ID and DownVu transducer, i haven't fitted it yet...

The plan is to find some wrecks with my family and go fishing too.
