Yup, agreed. If he talks nicely to the marina chap, he'll let him tie up on a pontoon whilst he fiddles with the engine. Personally I'd go to Whitby.

I've used Rother Valley for exactly the same...

I've used Rother Valley for exactly the same purpose, but I dont recall it costing 35 quid. There is a place out Beverley way which is a caravan site that has a water skiing lake that you can use,...
