Hi Tim, yes we are in discussion but the plan is the three day charge so allows yachts out on a run etc. They can be charged aboard also, I just bring home for a base charger

I agree which is why we offered to test them on a few different boats from cruisers to Ribs and maybe a couple of Yachts if there is no AIS fitted or being added. It certainly works OK we tested it...

Testing AIS identifier

We along with a few others have been asked to test a new battery operated Automatic Identification System (AIS) transmitter.

The unit is battery operated and should last for up to three days...
