We've got one of the ones with a screen that Maplins sells. Fabulous bit of kit for looking at cylinder walls/inside hulls etc.

If you've got a way to pump it out,I'd be tempted to pour a few buckets of water down there mixed with a bit of Bilgex or similar then have a look with a borescope/endoscope.

I'd try and pump it out first if you can, though I suspect your solution might be the only one.

Be careful though-if that trunking is sealed you'll jet the inside of the console with crap.

If the underdeck layout is the same as my 7.8 then you shouldn't be able to get water trapped in there. The trunking under the deck is open to the under deck void at both ends and it can drain...
