Try it as-is first. If you find it's too unstable at rest (I doubt it will be) then it's worth thinking about opening it up again.

It's not a bad price at all-could be a hell of a bargain, but that trailer looks ropey as hell. Given his previous feedback for a trailer sale, I'd be wary of it.
