Agreed - the deep v hulls that are present on most ribs are not the best for speed. too much energy spent cleaving your way through the water and pushing it to either side...

Agreed - Its not the best way they could have done it - but its unlikely you will be at full throttle in those kind of conditions anyway.

They have allowed for ventilation or the boat jumping out...
