I think you got it right. Also described before in a post, the flaps for mounting was not situated at 6 ´clock but more like 7.30. all that strain it not okay!!

When i first got the tube, and placed it, i could clearly see some thing was wrong.
Laying the tube on the floor, the starboard side was twisted....

The result was. Dents and twist in the skin of the tube.
I can hardly get it in place at the transom C. And...

I has now more folds in the potoon.
Also because it is off the center line, I can barely get it...
