I've no experience of my earlier mentioned suggestion but from personal knowledge of the Honwave wheels you have ordered - a decent grade Stainless steel tube ain't gonna flex much...

A few pics of launch wheels. Imagine the metal leg cut off at the rear of the trim tab with a stainless steel plate welded in an upright position parallel with the upright angle of the transom.

Honwave make launch wheels that mount to the transom and go around the inflatable tabs at the rear of the transom.
If you have / or are going to buy a set of these I would get a fabrication shop...
