I get 30mpg with our Eco Skoda yeti but I'm worried I may kill the clutch or gearbox with anymore fruity launch or recoveries and being only 2wd looses traction...

Land Rover Defender towing mpg
I'm looking at getting a defender 200 and I'm trying to weigh up the pros and cons.
Does anyone know what there like on fuel when towing a rib as I know they poor on fuel mpg in the first place...
