Looks like no manufacturer has really thought...
Looks like no manufacturer has really thought about it yet. Spoke to the Sony (non)helpline earlier and their advice was to buy a DVD player for each telly that I might want to watch a DVD on!...

Digital terrestrial DVD recorders
Seeing as you guys in the big wide world are slightly ahead of us in the Channel Islands, you may have the answer to my following query.
We've just gone digital here. No more analogue grainy/fuzzy...
