All v useful, and thanks for the offer of a run! We live in London, got a sail boat at Noss Marina, and this rib would realistically be a tender replacement for on the Dart and to use on any camping...

Thanks; there's a 2006 (same year) with 2001 Mercury @ £6100 and a 2007 with Yam 50 @ £6750 but haven't seen any as low as £5k with engine - do you have links to any examples?

Thanks - I take your points about the ride. I'd be mainly river pootling in the Dart with a bit of Start Bay for a blast and round to Salcombe, so not expecting heavy weather use - F3-4 or less....
