Those conditions are much worse and were close to the shore - deeper water is usually safer. Also it is a smaller boat - more ballast at the bow would have helped - I would have sent the crew forward...

It is for such a short period of time it doesn't matter - what you have to watch is if you run the engine too high all the time - on a transom jack for example - then you need a water pressure guage...

One thing I did notice is that once again 2 engines does make the stern a liitle heavy on the landings...
