Don't forget the tyre ratings, it will cost you a lot more for tyres that can cope with a minimum of 750kg. If you don't need the extra capacity stick with 1300kg unit and the lower cost 675kg tyres.

Good point, some dealers do tell you about this and build extra into the "fitting cost" for a new battery, battery leads, terminals etc. They will not allow wing nuts on battery cable terminals...

I really prefer using an anchor post, had one on my last RIB and have fitted one to my Searider. They need not be too heavy just securely fitted, the bow will need protecting from the anchor line...
