Can’t comment on the Suzuki, I got a 6hp Yam last year and it’s been a great wee engine, starts straight away every time and pushes my tender up on the plane no bother.

I’m looking for a 6hp short shaft motor, preferably 2 stroke. Not that bothered about aesthetics, looking for a good runner.

Are you sure it was £12k? Henshaws made me a new set of tubes for an Arctic 22 for about £4,500, it was a few years ago now but they were full original spec.

Was trying to run my 2.5 tender engine on old fuel recently, ran like a bag of spanner’s. Fresh fuel and it’s running perfectly! To be fair the old fuel was probably about 4 years old.

Looks like a sib, had one of these at the sailing school I worked at about 30 years ago. It had a tiller steered 30hp on it and went ok albeit a bit floppy, it was nicknamed the Flubberduck.
