Forgot to mention,the Fleetwood to Knott-end ferry uses the slip so don't impede the operation by tying up at the working bit of the slip they are also entitled to make a charge for using the slip

Agree with Noel ,but just watch the drop off at the end and beware of the cast iron bollards at the edge of the slip. The Ferry uses the jetty so give it priority and you may be asked by the ferryman...
