The detectors last about 2 years before they need replacing and both were replaced about a year ago, so must be the heat. I cant believe the batteries would have anything to do with this .........

Latest forecast is for rain until 2100, so Typhoon display might by iffy, needs a minimum of 6000' cloud base

The real question here is how you feel the RIB of your choice handles AND where you intend to operate....
