Collar cleaning?
Hi,
I cant get the collar clean on my avon :bang: i have tried scourers and brushes, rib cleaner, cif and cilit bang.
should i try some solvents? :thumbs:

Yamaha Autolube Oil
Just a quick question,
Which type of oil should i use in my yam 30 autolube?
I have been told there is two diferent types of yam oils but im unsure which to use, cheers

cleaning carbs
I know the best cleaning method is as recommended and using a ultra sonic bath but all of the shops I've spoken to expect to charge £25 per carb + labour and parts, so a carb clean gets into £150 -...

I set up the gear lever by extending the connecting rod in the leg, on checking the previous cable wasn't a Yamaha so it may have been different. All OK now. thanks

I don't think there is any spline on this gear change, it pulls up and down with neutral in the middle, unless there's a false neutral which allows the length of the select shaft to out of alignment?...

Yamaha 30 gear cable
Just fitted a new gear cable and had the leg off to change the impellor, the cable appears to be too short does anyone know an ajustment that i may have missed?

Yamaha auto lube 30 hp, is there any good reason for removing the auto lube system and running pre mix 2 stroke? Are these auto lube systems reliable or need particular maintenance attention?
