"Hi Guys, Only weekends in April and May that is awkward for us, are the 26/27th April and the 17/18th May. Simply because on those weekends its Spring tides, and the High water time means we would not be able to use the foreshore as a setting down area for arriving boats (and leaving trailers once launched). The car park as most of you know is fairly small (50cars) so with the prospect of 20 or so Large RiBs and tow vehicles arriving all for a 10am launch not to mention any other craft, it would simply be chaos. Chris "

As posted on original thread,
Surely not to late to change dates to accommodate everyone, wouldn't be the same without a full complement of BS stormtroopers :whistling:

At the moment there is only Tony T and Mick on Loch Lomond trip.

The other problem is i can't do 26/27th April and 17/18th May has a low tide at mid day. Plus we have 21 boats committed to 19th now already

We could shift to 20th as it is bank holiday monday. The Loch Lomond boys are back on the 19th, but not sure if they would then come?????

Looks like I need to have a word with your better half she will go mad when she finds out what you've done to a fellow Wulfrunian ... God help you now :D

Barrowboy 14 November 2013 16:34

That's sorted then. Accommodation booked for Friday through Sunday night. Gives a day for the hangover to wear off before having to drive (crawl) home on Bank Hoiday Monday.

Hope to be there again for a great crack and hopefully some good boating too.
Been down about 10 miles past Caernarfon but you need the tide and stay In the channel.
Popped in the pub for a quick drink too on the front, had to be done.
