Sorry to be intrusive by sending a pm but I read what you posted regarding the AB's jobs in your company in the 'Bit of advice re endorsements & careers??' thread and found it really interesting. Could I be bold enough to ask which company it is? From when I left school up until January this year I was an electrician at Holyhead Marine Services. I left to pursue a new career afloat. I have Yachtmaster theory and all the pre-requisites required for the Yachtmaster Offshore power practical exam and will doing so in early November. Currently of the STCW '95 basic safety training, it is only the fire fighting unit that I'm missing but I hope to complete that as soon as my yachtmaster is finished.
