Wanted - 5-7HP Outboard - £300 Budget

Hello!

I'm looking to buy an outboard for my SIB. Preferably with an internal fuel tank and above 4HP. The max I can put on it is 7.

My approximate budget is £300.

At that kind of money I'd be looking for a 5hp yamaha which is probably the largest you will find with an integral tank

Thanks- I have found an old Yamaha in working condition which hasn't been used much. Is it best to stay clear of older engines?

Mariner 4hp should be in there too as a reliable little motor. If you cand find a Yammie 5hp, then definitely investigate.

Those old Yamaha 4 & 5hp 2 strokes are pretty bullet proof some of the mariners are re badged yamaha engines
