Avon SR5.4

I have an older 5.4m (18') Searider that has been fully restored. Not sure if your department would be able to purchase an older but for the big water of Lake Huron it could be a good fit. You can check it out here and message me with any questions. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace...55142692827403

Cheers

For a rescue team the smaller boats with the drop down fronts (whaly style) are ideal as it gives a good access for casualty recovery and equipment recovery.

Also being solid makes them a little more fireman proof..............

Good grief. This chap has been asking for advice since 11th October!
Surely he needs a big (8m plus), twin outboard engined, beefy-boat.
Just imagine all those big fireman clambering all over it in their drysuits and double/triple tanks.
Such as :
Zodiac, Humber, Willard, ASIS, or Gemini to mention just a few.
This would also give you the advantage of special build so it will to YOUR spec.
Go ask the military what they use-might be a touch expensive but you probably don't need bullet-proof tubes (for example).
