Nothing wrong with the build on them, they're built like a tank and no less capable than your Ribcraft, just a bit more shock due to the lack of suspension seats. Been out in serious weather in my old one and never felt worried.

Yeah I quite like them, would be the right maximum size to fit on the drive as a next boat upgrade - only thing is I think the Mrs (and useful for the little un) would quite like a chemical loo on the next one so I quite like those with space in the console for a toilet. Dream would be a cabin rib but as soon as I go above 8m I would need to pay for storage elsewhere and quite like the convenience of having it at home. There aren’t really any video reviews of Ballistic ribs which I find surprising! Perhaps if he buys one a cheeky YouTube review?

There's a bit of video of my old one on Youtube (username Avonsearider54) but nothing much.

I did consider a cabin conversion but the fuel tank placement would have meant a major refit or a very low internal height as it's under the forward deck.

I'd have another if I was after another 8m non cabin boat.
